Why We Do Groups
Matt Dennings - October 29th, 2023
Text: Acts 2:42-47

We go deeper into the heart of God by going outward into the harvest. We concluded our series on discipleship by discussing the importance of going as laborers and sharing the Gospel with those around us. Matt Dennings guided us through Matthew 9:35-38, helping us understand how engaging with our neighbors helps align our hearts with the Lord of the harvest.

Have you found a pace with the Lord that enables you to run your race with endurance? Yesterday, lead pastor Matt Dennings guided us through Hebrews 12:1-2, emphasizing the significance of developing a training regimen as we run well. Take a listen as he unpacks the importance of doctrine, disciplines, and dominion as essential tools in our journey to thrive in the daily grind of an abundant life with Christ.

We were created to thrive in meaningful relationships that affirm the story of God’s grace in our lives. Sadly, we often settle for unhealthy relationships that lack the necessary balance of grace and truth. In yesterday's sermon, Matt walked us through Acts 2:42-47 and the importance of groups in discipleship. By committing ourselves to worship with one another, gather as family, and be on mission, we can grow together and experience the fullness of God's grace in our lives.

Don’t Lose The Plot
Matt Dennings - October 15th, 2023
Text: Luke 24:13-35

Why do we gather at church on Sundays? We gather every Sunday to remember the story of God’s grace to us in Christ and experience that grace through the fellowship of believers. Listen as Matt Dennings unpacks Hebrews 10:19-25 on how engaging in the church gathering helps emancipate us from the fictions in our lives.

As Jesus’ disciples process his death and resurrection, Jesus intercepts them and helps them rediscover the plot. Who gets to narrate your life? Matt Dennings encourages us to look to Scripture to anchor ourselves and be reminded of the greater storyline of God's redemption.
